Description

Copper solder GALFLO CUPAG15 B2x2 - solder that is used for soldering copper and copper alloys.

This solder contains phosphorus, so it is specially designed to solder together copper with copper or copper alloys (brass, bronze). This solder must not be used in sulphurous environments. Also, this solder is not suitable for brazing steels (Fe) and nickel alloys because of the formation of brittle zones. It is mainly used to solder copper pipes and copper parts.  Due to the silver contained in the solder, the soldered area becomes plastic, much more resistant to dynamic and thermal effects.

Percentage composition:

  • Ag (Silver)- 15%
  • Cu (Copper)- 80.3%
  • P (Phosphorus)- 4.7%
